SERVICES

Design & production

As part of a major relaunch of The China House, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok invited SIRI Design to design and produce new uniforms that reflect the restaurant’s bold transformation under the leadership of celebrated Chef Fei.

Known for contemporary Cantonese cuisine and regional specialties from his hometown of Chaozhou, the revamped dining experience required a look that blends cultural reverence with modern elegance.

THE DETAILS
A jacquard fabric and hand-sewn pleated sleeves on the manager's jacket add texture and make her the focal point of the team.

We had to align the visual identity of the staff with the culinary direction and spatial redesign ahead of the hotel’s 150th anniversary celebration. This required not just aesthetic fluency but also technical understanding – especially in working with specialty fabrics that demanded careful handling in tailoring, cleaning, and production. Our team collaborated closely with the hotel to implement design intent across all levels while managing time-sensitive challenges in prototyping and delivery.

Textured fabrics, a custom print and hand-rolled buttons ensure bartenders and the tea master are seen.
